First off, thank you for helping us test and refine Tachyon! Your feedback is crucial in shaping the best possible product, and we truly appreciate your time and effort.

This guide outlines the three testing phases that will structure our Alpha program:

  • Phase 1: Core Testing Goals (Runs until March 4, 2025)
  • Phase 2: Usabliity and Interfaces (Coming soon)
  • Phase 3: Performance & Edge AI Evaluation (Coming soon)

Right now, we are in Phase 1, which is all about device setup, connectivity, and initial usability validation. Please see the dedicated Phase 1 page for detailed testing steps.

Phase 1 Overview​

This phase is focused on out-of-the-box functionality and ensuring testers can get started without major roadblocks. Our key objectives include:

  • Setup & onboarding validation
  • Connectivity testing (Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS, and Ethernet if applicable)
  • Usability and design feedback
  • Compatibility with external hardware
  • Initial software experience assessment

📅 Phase 1 ends on March 10th, 2025. After that, we will introduce new goals for Phase 2.
