The Boron is a cellular development board designed for building connected products that operate over LTE Cat-M1 and NB-IoT networks. With BLE 5, Feather-compatible headers, and multiple power options, it provides a flexible platform for prototyping and deploying IoT solutions.

Overview
The Boron is a Gen-3 cellular development board in the Particle family of devices. It is based on the Nordic nRF52840 SoC (Arm Cortex-M4F @ 64 MHz, 1 MB Flash, 256 KB RAM) and includes LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT connectivity, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5), and Feather-compatible pin headers. The board can be powered by USB, Li-Po battery, or an external supply.
Boron devices run Particle Device OS and connect securely to the Particle Cloud. They are commonly used as standalone cellular endpoints or gateways for other devices.
