Welcome to the official developer documentation for Muon, Particle’s industrial-grade carrier board designed to accelerate development with Particle’s M- and B-Series system-on-modules (SoMs).
Muon not a device itself, but rather a carrier for one of our microcontroller SoMs - a rugged gateway that supports a wide range of embedded and IoT use cases. It is compatible with Particle’s BSoM and MSoM modules, such as the B524 and M404, enabling secure, cloud-connected applications right out of the box.

Getting Started
To begin your development journey with Muon, start with the Muon Setup instructions – your first step in powering on and provisioning your device. Then, explore the hardware details to understand the available interfaces, pin mappings, and expansion options.
